The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We ordered dinner one evening from the hotel's Tap Twelve while enjoying the manager's reception. The nightly Manager's Reception is from 5-7pm where each guest gets 2 free drinks and a variety of snacks. I always found our room clean and 'refreshed' upon returning at the end of the day. Also, the housekeeping staff did a great job. All the staff that I encountered were very friendly and courteous. The suites are very spacious with a separate living area and bedroom area (both with TVs). I suggest using the subway whenever possible because parking in DC is very limited and expensive. The closest Metro subway station is an easy 5-7 minute walk. The location is great.close to downtown DC but far enough away to be quieter and less hectic.
This was actually our third time staying at this Embassy Suites over the past 10 years. My husband and I spent 6 nights at this hotel in September 2022.
